This project is a conceptual re-branding of promotional items at Starbucks, with a specific focus on their yogurt parfaits. Approaching this opportunity for cross-platform integrated marketing, the icons for the re-branding are designed. The icons can be used as both emojis for client and corporate use online, or via text message, but also as labels for customers when choosing their food, or baristas when handling it for them. They carry a clean vector graphic quality with signature Starbucks friendliness and also a “cute” factor critical for their adoption for social media, which appeals to younger customers. All of these different uses will help brand Starbucks’ parfaits, and other treats, as iconic as their coffee.
